The **Callington 1-Shot Aircraft Insecticide (P/N: 4508/150)** is a **non-flammable, aircraft-approved aerosol insecticide** designed for **disinsection of aircraft cargo holds prior to departure or on-arrival**, and for **overnight cabin insect control**. It helps prevent the spread of **vector-borne diseases** such as **Dengue Fever, Yellow Fever, Malaria, Chikungunya, and Zika**, and is effective against **agricultural pests** that pose **biosecurity risks**. **Applications:** - **Cargo hold disinsection:** Before departure or after arrival. - **Overnight insect treatment:** In cabins during layovers. --- ## Treatment Procedure ### **Pre-departure Disinsection** 1. Conduct treatment **after all cargo has been loaded** and before the hold door is closed. 2. Notify the crew before spraying, as aerosols may trigger smoke alarms. 3. Keep the **air-conditioning off** and **recirculation fans on low** for 5 minutes after spraying. 4. Discharge aerosols evenly to cover all hold areas. 5. Stand cans upright between cargo containers, activate the lock-down nozzle, and close the door immediately. 6. Leave cans in place to complete the process. 7. Collect exhausted cans upon arrival. 8. **Spray rate:** 140 g per 100 m³. ### **On-arrival Disinsection** 1. Advise crew before spraying (aerosols may trigger alarms). 2. Keep **air-conditioning off** for 5 minutes after spraying; fans may stay on low if required. 3. Discharge aerosols manually through pressure hatches or place cans upright in the hold. 4. Once activated, **close hold doors immediately**. 5.
