DESCRIPTION

The **Callington CH3003 Aircraft Paint Stripper (P/N: 6300/51)** is an **environmentally friendly, low odour, acid-activated, thixotropic paint stripper**. It effectively removes **polyurethane, epoxy, and epoxy primer systems** from aircraft surfaces while **clinging to vertical, inclined, and overhead surfaces**. CH3003 is **safe on aluminium, steel, and titanium** and does **not contain methylene chloride, NMP, phenols, amines, nitrites, phosphates, or chromates**. **Directions for Use – Stripping Procedure:** **Before Stripping:** 1. Thoroughly clean all paint stripping equipment per manufacturer recommendations. 2. Use a dedicated pump for aircraft applications. 3. Ensure hangar temperature is above 20°C for optimal results. 4. Remove oil and dirt using an alkaline aircraft cleaner (e.g., CH087, CH511C, CH8150HG). Rinse thoroughly. 5. Allow surfaces to dry completely. 6. Mask or cover sensitive areas (rubber, composites, landing gear, windows, seals, electronics, high-strength steel, magnesium, cadmium-plated steel, plastics). 7. Sand the paint surface if possible for best results. **Stripping Procedure:** 1. Spray or brush CH3003 evenly on the surface, starting from the bottom and working upward. 2. Apply approximately **twice the paint coat thickness**. 3. Direct product into overlapping panels and keep surface wet until paint starts to buckle. 4. Allow contact time depending on ambient conditions (typically 1–3 hours or longer). 5. Use compressed air or a brush to remove loose paint. 6. Reapply CH3003 to leftover areas as needed. Avoid bare metal. 7. Agitate surface to remove all loosened paint and residual stripper. **After Stripping:** 1. Collect stripper and paint residue in clean waste bins for disposal according to local regulations. 2. Apply an alkaline cleaning solution (e.g., CH087, CH511C, CH8150HG) to remove residual stripper. 3. Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water. **Suitable Equipment:** - High-pressure (5:1 or 10:1) air-activated spray pumps - High-pressure hoses and spray wands with fan tip nozzle **Approvals & Compliance:** - BSS7432 (Immersion Corrosion Test; except magnesium, high-strength steel, cadmium-plated steel) - AMS 1376B (Aluminium and Titanium alloys) - MIL-R-81903A - Douglas CSD1 - ASTM F 945 - ARP 1755B **Applications:** - Stripping aircraft paint/primer systems from large exterior surfaces - Safe on metal aircraft structures including aluminium, steel, and titanium - For use in spray or brush applications on vertical and overhead surfaces --- ## Why CJ Aerospace?
