DESCRIPTION

The **Alcor Ungrounded EGT/TIT Screw-in Style Probe** (P/N **86341**) is an **ungrounded Type K thermocouple** designed for **exhaust gas temperature (EGT)** and **turbine inlet temperature (TIT)** measurement on reciprocating-powered aircraft. The probe features a **bayonet RTD copper sensor** with an overall length of approximately **15 in**. The **adjustable depth tip** enables a precise fit during installation. **Type K** EGT, TIT and some CHT thermocouples are identified by **red (-)** and **yellow (+)** wires. Type K thermocouples are manufactured using **alumel (red)** and **chromel (yellow)** metals.
