The **Tempo A701 Zinc Phosphate Primer** (P/N **A-701**) is a **self-etching, chromate-free primer** designed to chemically bond with **aluminium and ferrous metals**, forming a durable, corrosion-resistant base coat. It may be **left as-is** or **top-coated with two-component epoxy systems**, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and aeronautical finishing applications. The formulation provides **excellent resistance to seacoast exposure** and meets the performance requirements of **Federal Specification TT-P-1757B**.
