DESCRIPTION
The **Plane-Power ALT-8521LS-OH** is an overhauled, Prestolite-style, belt-driven aircraft alternator assembly rated at **24 V and 50 A**.
Hartzell Engine Tech’s Prestolite-style alternators feature a refined and improved Prestolite design. This alternator style has been widely used on legacy OEM aircraft applications.
The base ALT-8521LS is an FAA-PMA replacement for Electrosystems alternator **ALT-8421LS** and is eligible for Lycoming HIO-360 engine applications. The required drive pulley is not included.
