DESCRIPTION
The **Lamar B-00403-1 Voltage Regulator** (P/N **B-00403-1**) is a 14 V single-engine alternator control designed to regulate charging system voltage in compatible aircraft electrical systems.
Featuring continuous operation and pulse-width-modulated (PWM) field control, the regulator has a factory voltage setting of 14.0 V, an adjustable range of 12.0–16.0 V and a maximum load current of 4 A.
The B-00403-1 incorporates overvoltage protection that latches off regulator output following an overvoltage event. It also provides field short-circuit protection, with the latching shutdown reset by momentarily removing the supply voltage.
Listed in Lamar's FAA-PMA voltage regulation range, the B-00403-1 supports selected Beechcraft and Mooney aircraft applications.
