Jet Stream DPREP12 DE-ICE BOOT CLEANER - 1 QRT

The **Jet Stream® PBS Prep** (P/N **DPREP12**) is a preparation cleaner formulated for use **before each PBS Boot Sealant treatment**. It effectively cleans **pneumatic de-ice boots** by removing old boot treatments, helping to prevent dulling and hard-to-remove build-up while ensuring the best possible results when applying **PBS Boot Sealant**. Failure to prepare de-ice boots with PBS Prep may result in dulling due to build-up. --- ## Applications - Cleaning pneumatic aircraft de-ice boots - Removal of previous de-ice boot treatments - Surface preparation before PBS Boot Sealant application - Routine maintenance of aircraft de-ice boots - Preparation of de-ice boots before refinishing ## Application Instructions 1. Mask the edges of the de-ice boots using **2-inch painter's tape**, curling the tape edge away from the surface to prevent PBS Prep contacting painted surfaces. 2. Apply PBS Prep directly to the de-ice boots and spread evenly using a **Jet Stream De-Ice Boot Scrubbing Sponge**. 3. Allow the product to remain on the boots for **2–5 minutes** to soften old boot treatments. 4. Wet the scrubbing sponge with water and agitate the de-ice boots to remove old boot treatment residue. 5. Wash and rinse the boots thoroughly using a **neutral pH wash soap** to ensure they are clean and free of PBS Prep. 6. Dry completely using clean **microfibre towels** before applying PBS Boot Sealant. ## Safety Notes - Avoid allowing PBS Prep to come into contact with painted surfaces. - Ensure all PBS Prep residue is removed before applying PBS Boot Sealant. --- ## Why CJ Aerospace?
