The **Jet Stream® Skai Aircraft Metal Polish – Step 1 Cutting Polish** (P/N **DSMP12**) is the first stage in the Jet Stream Metal Polish System. It is a cutting polish designed to restore aircraft aluminium and stainless steel to a mirror-like finish, with light swirl marks typically remaining after Step 1. This product is intended for use on: - Aircraft metal skins - Aircraft brightwork - Aluminium and stainless steel surfaces --- ## Applications - Restoration of oxidised aircraft aluminium - Polishing stainless steel aircraft components - Aircraft exterior brightwork restoration - Step 1 of a multi-stage metal polishing system - Surface preparation prior to finishing polish - Maintenance of aircraft metal surfaces ## Application Instructions - Apply using a clean microfibre applicator - Spread a thin, even layer over the surface - Work in sections of approximately **3 ft** - Use a rotary polisher or drum buffer for best results - Recommended operating speed: **1,200–1,500 RPM** - Buff until oxidation is removed and desired finish is achieved - Follow with Step 2 finishing polish to remove swirls --- ## Why CJ Aerospace?
