DESCRIPTION
The **Plane-Power ER14-50** is a 14 V, 50 A gear-driven generator-to-alternator conversion kit for eligible aircraft powered by Continental engines.
Designed to replace obsolete or unsupported generator systems, the ER14-50 provides improved electrical output at lower engine speeds, reduced weight and more reliable performance than many original generator installations.
The kit includes Plane-Power alternator assembly **15-1014**, a solid-state **R1224S-12 voltage regulator** and the required installation hardware.
The alternator drive gear is not included. An eligible serviceable Continental drive gear may be reused, or an appropriate optional drive gear assembly may be obtained separately.
