DESCRIPTION
The **PowerUp ES4300 and ES6300 Series** comprises all-new, FAA-PMA aircraft magnetos for eligible four- and six-cylinder aircraft piston engines.
These magnetos generate and distribute the high-voltage ignition energy required by the engine ignition system. Both impulse-coupled and non-impulse configurations are available, depending on the individual magneto part number and approved engine installation.
#### Series Configurations
- **ES4300 Series Magnetos** – Designed for eligible four-cylinder engine applications
- **ES6300 Series Magnetos** – Designed for eligible six-cylinder engine applications
- **Starting Configuration** – Impulse-coupled or non-impulse, depending on the magneto part number and approved installation
Individual magneto configurations may vary according to shaft rotation, drive type, contact arrangement, pressurisation requirements, mounting position and engine application.
PowerUp also provides a complete range of PMA replacement parts, magneto overhaul services and 500-hour inspection capabilities for supported ES4300 and ES6300 Series magnetos.
PowerUp identifies the following engineering improvements in its aircraft magneto components. The components fitted vary according to the individual magneto part number and configuration.

- Applicable to impulse-coupled magneto configurations.
- Single-piece, rivet-free impulse-coupling hub design
- Designed for improved durability and manufacturability
#### Improved Capacitor
- Internally grounded lead for improved durability
- Square insulator and stud base
- Designed to minimise rotation while the retaining nut is tightened
#### Improved Coil
- Additional support material around the tab
- Thicker upper and lower lamination plates
- Designed to resist deformation during assembly
- Designed to provide increased spark energy
#### Improved Breaker Assembly
- Clamping force applied to the metal frame
- Improved breaker-point spring
- Designed to reduce point bounce
- Reduced point drift over the service life
#### Improved Distributor Block Assembly
- Arc-suppression ribs in the high-tension carbon-brush area
- Designed to reduce ignition misfiring
- Geometrically asymmetric design helps prevent incorrect installation
#### Improved Distributor Gear
- Distributor-gear electrode manufactured from Monel for improved resistance to arc erosion
- Electrode heat-staked to the shaft and hub
- Designed for improved mechanical stability
