DESCRIPTION
**Hartzell PowerUp aircraft ignition harnesses** are designed for compatible reciprocating aircraft-engine ignition systems.
PowerUp ignition harnesses are engineered for the high-temperature and high-vibration operating environment of aircraft piston engines. Available configurations vary by part number and may include complete harness assemblies or individual left-hand and right-hand harness assemblies.
#### Negative-Pitch Contact Spring
- Spring tip extends inwards and lies flat against the spark-plug electrode
- Provides 360° contact with the spark-plug electrode
- Designed to maximise ignition-energy transfer
- Designed to minimise electrical flashover
#### Replaceable Contact Springs
- Contact springs can be replaced separately
- Supports field repair without replacing the complete ignition harness
- Replacement contact springs are available separately
#### Plated Steel Nuts
- Steel construction provides greater strength than aluminium alternatives
- Designed to reduce the potential for galling during installation
#### Shielded Flexible Conductor
- Flexible 19-strand stainless-steel conductor
- Tinned-copper, nickel-plated braid shielding
- Shielding is designed to reduce electromagnetic interference
- Flexible construction supports installation and routing
#### Abrasion- and Heat-Resistant Covering
- Abrasion-resistant polymer covering
