The **Champion Slick SS1001 SlickSTART** is a solid‑state **magneto start booster / ignition enhancer** designed specifically for use with **Slick magnetos**. It supplements the magneto’s normal ignition circuitry by delivering high‑energy pulses during engine cranking, improving start reliability even under adverse conditions (cold start, fouled plugs, weak mixtures).
