DESCRIPTION
The **Plane-Power TAL12-70** is a belt-driven generator-to-alternator conversion kit designed for eligible twin-engine aircraft powered by Lycoming engines.
The kit replaces two existing generator installations with two **10-1051 alternators**, each rated at 12 V and 70 A. It also includes the applicable Lycoming mounting components, solid-state Plane-Power voltage regulators, alternator-inoperative lamps and cockpit placards.
The TAL12-70 conversion is approved under **FAA Supplemental Type Certificate SA10682SC** and FAA-PMA Supplement 19.
