The **Marsh Brothers Aviation Aerostar Engine Cowl Anti-Chafing Liner Kit** (P/N **M1036-3**) protects the interior surface of the engine cowl where the engine airframe seals contact the upper engine cowling assembly. The liners are manufactured from **AeroLas-White**, Marsh Brothers Aviation’s flexible, tough, abrasion-resistant and self-lubricating polymer. The liners provide a durable protective surface that helps prevent wear on the aluminium upper engine cowl. Unlike many other chafe-protection materials, these liners do not have an adhesive backing. They are bonded in place using **3M DP420 two-part epoxy**, providing a strong bond to the engine cowl. The epoxy is not included in the kit. Each kit contains four liners and covers **one engine cowl**.
